Spinal Fusion Recovery: Treatment Results

Jump to:

Spinal fusion surgery is a major operation, and patients can take some time to fully recover afterwards. The pain can last for weeks or even months, and certain movements (such as bending, twisting, and lifting heavy objects) are to be avoided, at least initially.

While we specialise primarily in non-surgical scoliosis treatment, the physiotherapists here at the Scoliosis SOS Clinic have also helped numerous people to recover after spinal fusion surgery. Our therapeutic techniques can help to reduce pain and improve mobility during the recovery period– see below for some ‘Before & After’ photographs that demonstrate the results we’re capable of achieving.

If you would like more information about how we can help post-spinal fusion patients, please call 0207 488 4428 or contact us via our online enquiry form.

"

The course was excellent and I feel I have really benefited from being here. My therapist has been a wonderful teacher, so enthusastic, kind and understanding. I could not have wished for a better team to look after me.
